Laboratories and testing facilities
The Klokner Institute has nine fully self-sufficient and well-equipped laboratories and testing facilities which serve to carry out the Institute’s scientific, research and pedagogical activities. Advanced instrumentation is intensively used and applied in solving specialized problems from technical practice.
Focus of laboratories and testing facilities
The Klokner Institute combines research, teaching and expert areas, which is matched by the quality and range of accredited laboratories and testing facilities. The Institute’s range of activities includes, for example, measuring the properties of building materials and determining the reliability of structures, proposing remediation after moisture surveys of buildings, or conducting field tests on buildings, which is fully within the competence of researchers and laboratory employees.
