Cooperation
As an independent research institute of the CTU, the Klokner Institute establishes cooperation with companies both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Such cooperation basically involves qualitative and quantitative research on the reliability of structures, monitoring of the behavior of buildings, and the associated processing of expert opinions on the safety of materials and structures.
LEDARNY IN PRAGUE BRANIK

The subject of the extensive survey of the late Art Nouveau monument of the Branice Ice Plant industrial complex was the reinforced concrete construction of the icehouse with brick and stone masonry and the brick building in its surroundings. The survey of the refrigerator, which has a clear height of about 14 m and a thickness of approx. The main focus was on the structural system, the identification of the materials and their mechanical properties (concrete, masonry, stone), the reinforcement of the reinforced concrete elements, the corrosion state of the reinforcement and the foundation structure. For the masonry building, the masonry and timber structures and the foundation structure were evaluated.
PILSNER URQUELL BREWERY

The subject of two structural and technical surveys on the premises of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery were reinforced concrete structures of several buildings. In addition to the mechanical properties of the concrete and the reinforcement of the structures, concrete analyses were carried out with regard to the suspected use of aluminate cements for the production of concrete.
